Blog watch: Voodoo Funk

This week I came across this interesting blog for Afro-beat music called Voodoo Funk. 

Voodoo Funk is the creation of African music enthusiast Frank O. He mostly travels around West Africa to different cities and villages digging for the finest in afro-beat,afro-funk, highlife and even afro-rock!  

I love this blog as it celebrates the number of unknown artists and musicians who dedicated themselves to creating such a culturally rich and diverse sound that still influences popular music on the African continent today.
