After living in America for two decades, Patrick Awuah returned to Ghana. Leaving his million dollar job at Microsoft, he decided to set up Ashesi University in Accra, to educate the next future of African leaders. Patrick Awuah believes that training the next crop of leaders and business entrepreneurs to be problem solvers & critical thinkers will be crucial to the development of the continent.
The university sits on a 100 acre land near Aburi, an hour's drive from Accra, with world class facilities and over 500 students from different African countries.
Patrick Awuah's goal is to make Ashesi University a center of both academic and entrepreneurial excellence in Africa.
